Ribbon Cutting: Legacy Fiberoptics, Inc. New Facility
Tuesday, October 28, 2025 (3:30 PM - 4:30 PM) (EDT)
Description
Legacy Fiberoptics was formed in 2008 by a group of former Laser Precision, GN Nettest, and Anritsu employees with the goal of continuing service and support to thousands of loyal GN Nettest equipment customers after the Anritsu facility closed. Since then, LFO continues to service new and old customers and their fiber optic repair needs. From OTDRs, to Fusion Splicers, LFO is your go-to resource for fiber optic equipment repair. Additionally, LFO provides Fiber Characterization services where they travel all over the globe testing the integrity of their customer’s networks.
In 2022, Gabriella Marchesani purchased the company with a promise to uphold the values, commitment to quality, and industry standards to which Legacy customers have become accustomed. In the three short years since, Gabriella, along with her team, has delivered on her commitment and then some, expanding the company’s services and reach, moving operations to a larger facility, and continuing a legacy of excellence in providing service to the ever-expanding telecommunications industry.
LFO is the Authorized Service Center for Anritsu Company, and Kingfisher. In 2024, Legacy Fiberoptics doubled its workspace by moving to a larger facility that is more conducive to the company's growth trajectory. “We have become the Authorized Service Center for Inno, acquired the customer service department of Laser Probe and invested in new equipment to expand our services into the radio frequency world,” said Gabriella.
In June of 2025 LFO reached another significant milestone that was in the works for two years. LFO received their NYS Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (NYS MWBE) certification. “This certification also allows us to obtain contracts/jobs from larger customers who may have criteria where they have to award jobs to MWBE companies,” said Gabriella. “If any of our long-time customers, or new customers need to fill that objective, we are able to support them.”
2026 is looking bright and LFO is excited to share their accomplishments and celebrate their new space with a Ribbon Cutting on 10/28/2025 at 3:30pm. There will be light refreshments & snacks with the opportunity to check out the facility and learn a little more about what they do.
