Utica Blue Sox Concessions and Merchandise Attendant

The Concessions & Beer Tent Attendant plays a key role in creating a positive fan experience at Utica Blue Sox home games. This position involves preparing and serving food, beverages, and beer, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing friendly, efficient service to fans throughout the game. 

Responsibilities

Set up and stock concession and beer tent areas before each game

Serve food, snacks, and beverages quickly and accurately

Check IDs and responsibly serve alcohol in compliance with state and local laws

Handle cash and card transactions using the point‑of‑sale system

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the shift

Restock inventory and assist with post‑game cleanup

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Represent the Utica Blue Sox with professionalism and enthusiasm

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older (21+ preferred for beer tent service)

Prior experience in food service, bartending, or concessions preferred

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season

Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment

Must complete alcohol service training (if applicable)

Schedule & Compensation

Part‑time, seasonal position (June–July)

Shifts typically run 3–5 hours during home games

Competitive hourly pay based on experience
