This is a remote position located in Central or Western New York.
The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving business growth for M3 Placement and Partnership all while keeping M3’s core values top of mind. This role will ensure strong development and execution of an individualized sales strategy as well as collaborate across the M3 team to ensure the organization meets its growth and sales goals.
CORE DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop plans for business and revenue growth
Research new market opportunities and build a pipeline of prospective customers
Partner with the RPO and Direct Placement teams to understand clients’ needs as well as cross sell and upsell opportunities
Research, plan, and implement new target market initiatives
Research prospective accounts in target markets
Generate and pursue leads and move them through the sales cycle to close
In partnership with M3 team members, develop quotes and proposals for prospective clients
Represent M3 Placement and Partnership at conferences and industry events
Build and maintain trusting relationships with key clients, partners, communities we serve within and stakeholders to support future growth plans.
Contribute to a positive work environment through collaborative team work and positive communication in alignment with M3’s culture, values and mission.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years’ experience working in B2B sales, client support, or business development
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated experience prospecting, selling, and nurturing client relationships
Demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth.
Exhibit emotional intelligence, professional presence, confidentiality and judgement.
Displays flexibility and openness in daily work.
Accepts and readily adapts to changing priorities, new ideas, strategies, procedures, and methods.
Demonstrates and promotes respect toward coworkers and adapts behaviors to work effectively with varying people and situations.
Ability to thrive in a team environment with a “can do” attitude in helping one another to provide an exemplary level of service.
Willingness to travel up to 20%
Preferred
Experience with consultative sales methods
Sales with Executive level /C-suite
Subject matter expertise in one or more key verticals (e.g. health care, professional services, clean energy, non-profits, manufacturing)
An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements.
Pay Range: $70,000-$80,000
