Job Summary: BGM Supply is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Administrative Clerk to support daily accounting, administrative, and office operations. This is a key role within our small team and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and contributing to efficient office systems.
In addition to handling day-to-day financial and administrative tasks, this position supports maintaining organized, consistent office processes within a small, family-owned business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Administration
• Process and post daily vendor invoices
• Audit vendor statements for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and send customer invoices
• Post customer payments and assist with collections
• Perform daily point-of-sale batch closings
• Prepare and process daily bank deposits
Office & Administrative Support
• Handle daily mail, filing, scanning, and document organization
• Maintain accurate digital and paper records
• Assist with administrative processing of customer credit applications
• Assist with administrative setup for vendor accounts
Systems & Process Support
• Follow established administrative and accounting procedures
• Help maintain clear documentation for recurring tasks
• Identify inconsistencies and bring them to management’s attention
• Support consistency and thoroughness in daily workflows
Qualifications & Skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with numbers and routine financial tasks
• Organized, dependable, and proactive
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
• Comfortable managing digital files and documentation
• Experience with DDI software is helpful but not required
• Prior administrative or accounting experience preferred
Schedule
• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (slightly flexible)
• Office-based role
Compensation
• $20–$25 per hour, based on experience
