Maintenance Tech Position
Responsibilities
- Respond to after-hours emergency calls, including but not limited to:
- Tenant lockouts
- Loss of water, power, or HVAC
- Water leaks and flooding
- Coordinating with and meeting vendors as needed
- Complete general work orders during business hours (e.g., repairs, installations, troubleshooting).
- Perform apartment cleanings and unit turnover tasks prior to new tenant move-ins.
- Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure properties remain safe and well-maintained.
- Communicate effectively with property management staff and tenants regarding issues and resolutions.
Requirements
- Previous maintenance or property management experience preferred.
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be available for on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Compensation
- Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience).
- On-call hours and emergency responses compensated accordingly.
