Morgan LaBella, Fund Development Manager, will introduce the Community Foundations' new Charitable Checking Accounts and how this free, easy-to-use platform helps families and individuals give back locally and beyond in a simple, flexible way. She will also provide a brief overview of additional fund options, including donor-advised funds, scholarship funds, and nonprofit agency funds, that support long-term community impact. She will also briefly chat about tax advantages for business owners.

Joe Wicks, Community Investment Strategic Manager, will speak about community investment at the Community Foundation, focusing on how strategic philanthropy supports local nonprofits and drives measurable impact throughout the Mohawk Valley. Joe will also share some insights into Mohawk Valley Gives, our community-wide giving day that offers businesses a meaningful way to engage, give back, and demonstrate local leadership.
