Grand opening celebration for Sentinel Media’s Utica office

Join the Sentinel Media Company, publisher of the Daily Sentinel, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 19, to celebrate the grand opening of its new Utica location at 421 Broad St.

The Utica office is the second location of Sentinel Media Company, a family-owned newspaper for six generations.

Come join us as we celebrate the expansion of the Daily Sentinel’s news coverage and local journalism in Oneida, Herkimer and Madison counties, which will include tours of the office, a ribbon-cutting, and refreshments.

The ribbon-cutting will take place at 4:30 p.m.

"We are so excited to bring a local family media company to the Greater Utica area. We wanted to show our commitment to the area by having a brick and mortar office in Utica,” said Brad Waters, owner/publisher of Sentinel Media Company. "We will continue our hiring of reporters in Utica and the surrounding communities in order to cover news, sports and entertainment the best we can. Our staff and I already appreciate the warm welcome the area has shown,” he said.
