Oneida County History Center turns 150 in December 2026. This milestone anniversary underscores our significance in the community and our pivotal role in preserving its history.

Whether you’ve called Oneida County home for generations or are new to our vibrant community, we invite you to join us to celebrate 150 years! Guests can explore the exhibit gallery, mingle, and enjoy refreshments from Patrick O’Connor, Hart’s Hill Inn Catering & Events. Oneida County History Center is a private 501(c) (3) not-for-profit educational institution dedicated to history, education, and community. Founded in 1876, its mission is to preserve and share the past of Oneida County and central New York for present and future generations. Engaging public programs, rotating exhibits, educational opportunities for all ages, and preservation of a vast archival and artifact collection are at the core of its mission.
