The Mohawk Valley Institute for Learning in Retirement (MVILR), in partnership with Mohawk Valley Community College’s Speaker and Cultural Series, will host internationally recognized pollster John Zogby on Wednesday, April 8, from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. in the Festine Auditorium at MVCC’s Rome Campus, 1101 Floyd Ave. Zogby, founder of Zogby Analytics, will present “Trust in Politics Is Down; Let’s Have an Election,” examining declining public trust in political institutions and its impact on voter behavior in the upcoming election cycle. Drawing on decades of polling and survey research, he will offer insights into today’s political landscape. The event is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow the lecture, featuring Zogby’s latest book, Tribal: How to Understand the People Who Lead, Follow, and Define the Way We Live Today, which explores how social groups shape modern culture, politics, and decision-making.
