DESCRIPTION:In early 2025\, the Utica Zoo discovered a treasure in Schuyler NY with the Bull Reef Aquaculture Farm. Dr. Ronny Bull has been cultivating and growing salt water coral for over 30 years and enthusiastically shared the vision of creating the 2nd largest coral reef exhibit in the Northeast\, at the Utica Zoo! Located in the former wildlife hall auditorium and funded by the Bruce and Frances Bull Family Fund at the Community Foundation\, this indoor\, year-round exhibit features 2000 gallons of salt water coral and fish. Further support was provided by Todd Usmail\, an avid diver through his company Seas the Day Scuba\, a diving specialty shop in NY Mills and through Usmail Electric.
