Ribbon Cutting: COVET Metaphysical

 A new chapter begins as COVET Metaphysical officially celebrates its relocation and expansion with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Utica Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, April 1st at 4:30 PM, followed by an open house from 5:00–7:00 PM in the heart of historic Bagg’s Square in Utica. 

Formerly known as Alabaster & Ash in Remsen, COVET Metaphysical has evolved into a larger and more immersive space, now featuring Heimowitz Arts tattoos by Jae Heimowitz, alongside its signature metaphysical offerings. The expansion brings together metaphysical goods, intuitive services, and tattoo artistry under one roof—creating a unique destination for self-expression, healing, and creativity. 

COVET Metaphysical and Heimowitz Arts are proudly woman-owned and LGBTQ+ affirming, with a mission rooted in inclusivity, community, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for all who walk through their doors. 

Guests attending the grand opening celebration can enjoy: 

· A ceremonial ribbon cutting at 4:30 PM 

· An open house experience from 5:00–7:00 PM 

· Exclusive, walk-in flash tattoos by Heimowitz Arts

 · Tarot card readings by KelliePsychicMedium 

· Permanent jewelry with Welded Memories by Reed 

Adding to the enchantment of the evening, the event coincides with a full moon—a time traditionally associated with manifestation, clarity, and new beginnings. This celestial alignment reflects the spirit of COVET Metaphysical’s transformation and invites the community to set intentions and celebrate growth together.

 “This move represents more than just a new location—it’s a fresh start and expansion of our vision; it’s the manifestation of a dream that’s driven us for the past 6 years,” said Daniee Weaver, owner of COVET. “We’ve created a positive space where people can explore their own magick, express themselves artistically, and feel completely accepted, while still having a little fun!” The public is warmly invited to attend and experience the magick of COVET Metaphysical and Heimowitz Arts new home.
