Ribbon Cutting: Grand Opening of The Kucerak Event Center

Arc Herkimer is opening the doors to the new Kucerak Event Center and inviting the community to come celebrate!

The Grand Opening will take place on Tuesday, September 22 from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at MV Golf & Event Center, 6069 State Route 5, Little Falls. A ceremonial Ribbon Cutting will be held in partnership with the Herkimer County Chamber of Commerce and Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce.

As a mission-driven social enterprise, MV Golf & Event Center provides meaningful ways for people of all abilities to work, learn, play, and connect with the broader community. The new venue builds on this model by expanding access to employment, recreation, and wellness, while generating sustainable revenue that directly supports Arc Herkimer’s mission and the people it serves.

“We wanted to create a place where the entire community could celebrate life’s biggest moments and feel like they belong,” says Lorene Bass, President/CEO of Arc Herkimer. “But what makes me most proud is what’s behind it all: creating more opportunities for the people we support. It’s a beautiful venue, but its purpose is so much bigger.”

The new event center expands the property into a year-round destination for weddings, special occasions, corporate gatherings, fundraisers, and community events for up to 160 seated guests. The modern space offers flexible layouts, audio/visual capabilities, a remodeled adjacent bar/restaurant, and stunning views overlooking the Mohawk Valley.

The venue features a private bridal suite, offering a retreat to prepare and relax leading up to the ceremony. The expansion also brings fun for all ages, including state-of-the-art golf simulators, cornhole, darts, and arcade games, in addition to other recreational amenities already available at the course.

The Kucerak Event Center is named in honor of Paul Kucerak III, a long-time supporter of Arc Herkimer, and the Kucerak family, whose transformational generosity made the vision possible. Other significant donors include the Babinec Family & UpMobility Foundation and The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties.

Community members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Guests will be invited to tour the new venue, explore event possibilities, experience new recreational offerings, and enjoy refreshments.
