The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for the 2026 Businessperson of the Year celebration, presented by Staffworks, as we honor Ross Berntson, President and CEO of Indium Corporation.

Ross joined Indium Corporation in 1996 and has built a remarkable career spanning technical leadership, market development, international operations, and executive management. His work has taken him around the world, including serving as President of Indium Corporation’s Asia Holdings in Singapore, before ultimately leading the company as President and CEO.

Under Ross’s leadership, Indium Corporation continues to grow its global reach while remaining firmly rooted in the Mohawk Valley. Today, the company serves industries at the forefront of technology, including electronics, semiconductors, advanced packaging, thermal management, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing.

The Businessperson of the Year Award recognizes an individual whose leadership, service, and commitment to the community have made a meaningful and lasting impact on the business climate and overall vitality of the Greater Utica area.

Join business and community leaders from across the region as we celebrate Ross, his accomplishments, and the people and partnerships that have helped make Indium Corporation a global success story with Upstate New York roots.
