Description

The Adirondack Railroad has been in business since 1992. With hundreds of volunteers contributing time and resources, we are a not-for-profit organization that operates an excursion railroad that has provided memories for more than 1.84 million passengers to date. 

Our mission is to promote, participate in, and develop multiple uses of rail transportation corridors for recreational purposes that support economic development and the tourism economy in the Adirondack Region and Central New York area. 

Our refurbished fleet of railcars and locomotives serve communities from our headquarters in Utica to communities far into the Adirondack Park.

 Trains include: Family outings on our Fall Foliage trains in the Fall. 

-Special occasion trains 

- Beer and Wine Trains featuring quality live entertainment.

- The Polar Express holiday experience and other Family Trains Plus,

 From business meetings aboard the business car once used by the President of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, to a charter in our glass top dome car, this can be an elegant way to appreciate valued colleagues and travel through the splendid scenery in the Adirondacks. Our customer service staff will be pleased to help you make the arrangements.
