Twin Ponds Golf & Country Club, a beloved local destination for golf, weddings, celebrations, and community gatherings, will celebrate 80 years of Girmonde family ownership with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration on Monday, April 27, 2026.

The event marks the exact anniversary of the day the Girmonde family purchased the property on April 27, 1946, beginning a legacy that has spanned four generations. What started as a family investment became a cornerstone of the local community, shaped by decades of hospitality, hard work, and meaningful memories.

This milestone honors not only the Girmonde family’s business legacy, but also the dedicated employees, loyal patrons, wedding couples, golfers, and community partners who have been part of the Twin Ponds story across eight decades.
